Manaslu was first climbed by Japanese Expedition in 1956.The name of this mountain has derived from Sanskrit Manasa means ‘intellect’ or ‘soul ‘It was attempted numerous time but, hard to get success, many life had to lost life.
The route starts from Arughat north of Kathmandu and follow the Manaslu circuit trek to Samagaon and leave that route three hour walk to left to reach in base camp. After acclimatized with training in the base came successful climbing is possible.
